About the MSC Initiative
The MSC Initiative began on 23rd September 2024 as an exciting student-led STEM initiative, starting as a competition to get students involved in Maths, Science, and Computing.
Our Story
What started as one competition has grown into an amazing STEM group that aims to inspire, educate, and challenge students across different subjects. We believe that learning together and having friendly competitions helps drive innovation and excellence.
Timeline: 2024–25 Test Run
- September 23, 2024 MSC Initiative officially launched
- October 2024 Team formation and initial planning
- November 2024 Event planning and curriculum development
- March 2025 STEM Week launch - official start of 2025 test run
- June 2025 Competition conclusion and awards ceremony
Future Expansion
Beyond our first competition, we're planning to expand into:
- Subject-specific clubs and societies
- Competitions between Schools across the Nation
- Competitions between Schools around the world
- STEM outreach programmes
